10 health benefits of drinking lemon juice.

Lemon is an inexpensive, easily available citrus fruit, popular for its culinary and medicinal uses. It is used to prepare a variety of food recipes such as lemon cakes, lemon chicken and beverages like lemonade and lemon-flavored drinks. It is also used for garnishing. Lemon juice consists of about 5% citric acid that gives a tarty taste to lemon. Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C. It also contains vitamins like vitamin B, riboflavin and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium as well as proteins and carbohydrates. Lemon is generally consumed in the form of lemon juice or lemon water. Lemon water makes a healthy drink, especially when taken in the morning. Daily consumption of lemon water provides a number of health benefits like:

Excellent for Skin Care

Lemon, being a natural antiseptic medicine, can participate to cure problems related to skin. Lemon is a vitamin C rich citrus fruit that enhances your beauty, by rejuvenating skin from within and thus bringing a glow on your face. Daily consumption of lemon water can make a huge difference in the appearance of your skin. It acts as an anti-aging remedy and can remove wrinkles and blackheads. Lemon water if applied on the areas of burns can fade the scars. As lemon is a cooling agent, it reduces the burning sensation on the skin.

Good for Weight Loss

One of the major health benefits of drinking lemon water is that it paves way for losing weight faster, thus acting as a great weight loss remedy. If a person takes lemon juice mixed with lukewarm water and honey, it can reduce the body weight as well.

Acts as a blood purifier

The diseases like cholera or malaria can be treated with lemon water as it can act as a blood purifier. Which might explain why it's also good for the skin too!

Good for stomach

Lemon can help relieve many digestion problems when mixed with hot water. These include nausea, heartburn and parasites. Due to the digestive qualities of lemon juice, symptoms of indigestion such as heartburn, bloating and belching are relieved. By drinking lemon juice regularly, the bowels are aided in eliminating waste more efficiently. Lemon acts as a blood purifier and as a cleansing agent. The intake of lemon juice can cure constipation. It is even known to help relieve hiccups when consumed as a juice. Lemon juice acts as a liver tonic and helps you digest your food by helping your liver produce more bile. It decreases the amount of phlegm produced by your body. It is also thought to help dissolve gallstones.

Water plus a few lemons becomes lemon juice. Lemon juice, when taken regularly in the morning, acts as a tonic to the liver and stimulates it to produce bile making it ready to digest the day's food.

and the rest of the health benefits I don't care. Haha. you can read the rest here if you like. Credits to the website too for these info. Just google THIS and you can find more or less the same info.

In case you are in good health and weigh 70 kg or less, it is advisable for you to have juice of one-half of the lemon squeezed into one glass of water, twice daily. However, if you weigh more than 70 kg, juice of one whole lemon in a glass of water should be preferred. For maximum benefit, this mixture should also be taken two times a day, though you may dilute more lemon juice according to your taste if you wish.

Do not just remain oblivious to the gifts of nature such as this, for you should always try to make the most of them. So, make it a part of your daily routine to drink a glass of warm lemon water in the morning and then open your gateway to enjoy its health benefits.

bloody recruits

it was my best Halloween ever so far! haha. it's the first time i actually got dressed up. and the what's more amazing is that it almost didn't happen. but i guess it's all the more gratifying to know that it was a success when it did.

yx and i was still deciding if we wanted to go to the party (which starts ard 11) around 7pm! i said i got a easy and brilliant idea. to get some cheap shirt and splatter blood all over. like be really blood drenched. the problem was, where to get the blood?

i thought we could just easily buy it somewhere or something. but didn't know where, so i googled "where to buy fake blood sg". all the results only showed "HOW to make fake blood". having only 3 hrs left, i decided i would just give it a shot since mediya was only downstairs. (i was staying over at somerset residences, liang court for jeff' bday).

our concept was "bloody recruits!" cause it was cheap and easy. we wore slippers some more. Lol.

The recipe i got online was corn syrup, chocolate syrup, red food dye and corn starch. THAT'S ALL IT TOOK! haha. it cost us only $14 to make one really big bowl of blood that everyone could use. when making it, the thickness is key. so we added a lot of cornstarch until we got the right texture. so that it would stick and not flow down.

and the really amazing thing is that is looked REALLY freaky and gruesome. and it lasted the whole night! the added bonus was that it was super easy to wash off. just rub w warm water, after all, it's just chocolate.

a few daring souls in the club actually took some off our bodies and licked it when we told them it's chocolate! ewww.

so yeah, i'm pretty glad that all these happened, even though it's so impromptu. thanks very much to jeff and his friends for making it possible too. the room, the make up etc etc.

for pictures, go to HERE

other than that, i had a very good weekend because of the awesome vball game and dinner w e beach vball gang. and a good time at jeff's bowtie bday too.

it has been eventful much. haha. and i shall study w the same "amount" of fun that I had this week!

the r/s bet work and fun should be direct. the more fun i have, i have to justify it w more study hours! MUST!

aquaplaning

had quite a good and fruitful day today. managed to study at my dining table, with tweety on my lap and a mask on my face - blasting xu jia ying.

made my way to town in the rain for my sister's keeper w joash. wow, that story's a sob fest. u just have to cry. =~(

met yi xiong and jasen thereafter, chilling at cine, waiting for the rain to slow to a drizzle and made our way to geylang for dimsum!

the dimsum were good, and we explored the area a bit. not a lot of "supplies" tonight, should be due to the rain.

it's actually the first time me and yx BOTH had a pillion. so it was kinda cool. like a group of 4, 2 riders, 2 pillion, going anywhere we want.

I sent joash home, and halfway, it started to pour from the skies again. oh damn, we were both shivering and on my way home after I dropped him, the rain got even bigger!

experienced the first aquaplaning of my riding history. and yeah, it's quite scary. it's like i suddenly just skid forward for a while.

according to wiki: Hydroplaning or aquaplaning by the tires of a road vehicle occurs when a layer of water builds between the rubber tires of the vehicle and the road surface, leading to the loss of traction and thus preventing the vehicle from responding to control inputs such as steering, braking or accelerating. If it occurs at all wheels the vehicle becomes, in effect, an uncontrolled sled.

gotta ride slower in the rain next time. a brand new can do weekend awaits, it's gonna be beaching time tmr!

from diary to advertisements

I reformatted my comp. and went thru a few old photos. like really old ones. like those taken when I was still in poly.

i went over to blurty.com/vovo to take a look. in cyberspace, nothing disappears. the memories stay intact, frozen, preserved.

and what's interesting isn't just what's on my blog. but also blogs that belonged to friends i used to hang out with in the past. they all stopped at around 2004/2005. they used to blog about me too.

"met titus.. blah blah blah."

surprising, it seems like SOMEONE (an old friend) is still blogging at blurty. The entries are locked but I know it's still being updated.

We used to derive so much joy blogging about mundane everyday stuff. what we ate, where we went, who we met.

isn't this what a blog is supposed to be? an online diary. in recent years, it seems to have evolved to something totally different for a lot of ppl.

but i think it just takes on a diff form for diff ppl. some out there still treat it like a online diary, with their deepest secret etched in it but locked away. some use it as a way to get attention, to show the world that they are fabulous.

some use it to keep in touch with friends. and the saddest of all (to me) are those blogs that had turned into a total advertising medium. Like some who blogs all days abt this blog event, that blog event. this entry sponsored by pringles, that entry sponsored by nachos. I guess it's still ok if it's just once in a while, but if 80% of the entries are "paid" entries, then the blog takes on a diff objective compared to what it was at the start.

anyway, enough of rambling. this blog is kinda dead too. i guess i'll update more often. maybe with mundane stuff like i used to. oh wait, there's facebook and twitter for that now - and even more timely than a blog.

Ang Mo Liu Lian?

A very interesting essay on language by Alfian Saat:

A long time ago, a Chinese man saw some Malays eating a fruit. It had a spiky shell, but its insides were filled with large seeds covered by yellow, buttery flesh. He had never seen (nor smelt!) a fruit like it before, in his native village in Fujian. He asked them what the fruit was called.

‘Durian’, they replied. This was from the Malay word for duri, which means ‘thorn’. And so the Chinese man went back and told his friends about this new fruit. As the word spread, it became incorporated into the Hokkien vocabulary as loo lian.

Then one day, a new fruit made its appearance, native to South America, possibly brought in by colonial travelers. It was also green, with a spiky exterior. In English, it was known as ‘soursop’.

The Malays had a tendency to append the word belanda (meaning ‘Dutch’) to anything foreign that they had never seen before. Examples include the Dutch goat (kambing belanda, or sheep), the Dutch chicken (ayam belanda, or turkey) and the Dutch cat (kucing belanda, or rabbit). So they called the fruit durian belanda.

The Hokkiens, on the other hand, called it ang mo loo lian. Ang mo (roughly meaning ‘Western’) was also used for other edibles, like ang mo kio (tomato) and ang mo chai thou (carrot). Thus the word ang mo loo lian now carries traces of Hokkien contact with both Malays and Westerners.

You can read the rest of them here!

He who has a why can endure any how

Back from a 3 days 2 night cca camp. I joined esprimere, a singing club in SIM. The camp started off quite dull, but as we got to know each other better, we started to really enjoy ourselves.

The camp had a very chalet-y feel to it as there were no strict rules as to what to do or when to sleep etc. I like to be cramped into a room, huddling sleeping bags, blasting air cons and talking crap. Simple but divine, like a good plate of chicken rice.

I can really feel the pace picking up in my life, and I'm enjoying it. Right after the camp, I went over to east coast park for blading session with Maju 5.

The jetty was the best part of it. The winds were howling with might and it just feels so good to be at the end of the jetty, feeling the blast (yes, not breeze!). This place must have been packed with many wonderful memories for many people.

The memories I have there goes 6 years back. And I enjoyed every moment of it. =)

After the blading session, I went over to the Gardens@Bishan for a BBQ with my Freshman Orientation Day folks. It was a surprise party for Yi Liang. It was ok, as I don't know most of them very well. But they're all pretty cool people.

The moment I got home, I was so shagged, but like all faithful facebook addicts, I started to add all those people I just got to know on facebook!

And a brand new week starts...

My day was fruitful, matched a tutor, went for tuition, started reading up my study texts (TRYING TO).

Nietzsche said "He who has a why can endure any how". And today I found that sentence to be particularly true for me as I reflected upon it.

The reason and meaning behind things and actions and dreams are really the essence of things. I know the reason why I want to be doing well in sch, because I want my mum to be able to lead a comfortable life before she passes away.

To have someone clean up for her instead of the opposite. To have the luxury of comfort and time. To be able to truly relax after all these grueling years.

Yes, I must do that. And for that, I must endure any 'how'.

Zhen Shi; 真实 by Titus & Ron

<lj-embed id="8" />

WHEE! did it over last Saturday evening. =D

This past week has been nothing short of fantastic. I played tennis TWICE! I'm so gonna be pro at it. And dota-ed like nobody's business. It's like my latest fad. That game is seriously fun, and it doesn't get boring even after six years! (unless you play for 10hrs str8 everyday la).

Tmr will be tennis again at Joan's. It's really quite a good workout. And jogging this sat at Machrichie (how do you spell that).

Quite happy that we haven't been going clubbing because..

1. it's boring
2. it's money wasting
3. it's nothing as exciting as screaming GODLIKE in the midlle of a lanshop.
4. it's not much of a social activity
5. you see things that reflects the sorry state of our community
6. you feel jaded
7. then you feel even more jaded
8. GG

Btw, I'm looking for tuition kids in the north! Like p4 to sec 2 lvl. I can teach maths (very well!) and science. My student did me proud when he fail 2 subjects for his mid year, and got only ONE A1 - which was my subject. MUAHAHAHA. Ok, maybe I should sell my science services to him too..

but math is seriously so much fun to teach..

got to sleep NOW!

Toa Payoh Lor One

On my way back to home from town, I realized that my petrol was running low. So I decided to try my luck along Whitley Road towards PIE. I saw 2 gas stations, but they were at the other side of the roads. I went straight ahead, looking for the nearest U-Turn.

Seems like there isn't one. I ended up at Toa Payoh instead. Mindlessly going around the neighborhood where I spent my childhood days, I ended up around Lor 1.

Lor 1 is where I stayed - Block 103, Level 8. I made a detour into the carpark. The buildings looks slightly different. Renovated. Painted. The pavements are now covered. I went up to the 8th storey.

A old granny sat outside the florescent-lighted 2 rooms flat, a topless dark wrinkled old man arranging the barrage of stuff inside. Looks like they are in the recycling business - Karang Guni. I smiled at the old lady. She looked at me.

"I used to stay here", I said in Chinese.

She didn't understand. She said something in Hokkien. I tried to gestured what I'm trying to say her, along with the best command of my Hokkien.

"Oooo.. How old were you?"

"I was ten when I left. Now I'm 23."

She smiled. I looked inside the old flat. I remember every corner of it. The long kitchen, the only bedroom, the bathroom that do not even have tiles. Just rough concrete (with minute craters everywhere) with a squat toilet.

I don't remember the corridor being so small. It must be because that I wasn't so big then. I walked to the other end. Remembering my old neighbours - Ah Pong, Ah Guan, Pei Ling, Yi Yi, Zai Zai, and so many other kids whose names I don't even know or remember.

It didn't matter back then, we played with each other all the same. The lift landings were our favourite spots. Zero point, five stones, and block catching (screaming all the way up and down). Sometimes if somebody parents are willing, we would visit their home and play with the latest game console back then - Sega Megadrive.

Those cartridges that you would need to blow into everytime it didn't work! Why that would work I don't know, but it always does. I remembered street fighters, sonic, samurai games. There was also a lan shop that I used to visit when I was younger. But it probably wasn't called a lan shop back then, it's not even "lan-connected".

Just a place where you pay to use their computers. Computers were a luxury, and nobody in the family back then really needed one. I still remember I had to type in commands in MS DOS mode to start the game. I'm surprised at myself now that I knew how to do all these back then when I was only in primary school!

But I look at kids nowadays at the lan shops and I think I'm not that special anyway. Given opportunities, kids can learn at a amazing rate about anything that interest them. DOOM was everyone's favourite game, but not mine. They would gush at the "naked" girls that lurk in the game, waiting for you to rescue them.

I liked SIM City much more. I also remember a certain boy name Aw and another named Zhao Yi. I wonder how they are all doing now.

I saw the playground that I would go down to everyday. Back then it was this big dragon half buried in sand. They probably think that sand isn't such a good choice anymore and changed it to those hard foam flooring. The dragon is gone too, replaced with something more contemporary. The badminton court is still there though.

There is this certain winding path that I remember very vividly. My dad forced me to pick up cycling. I was not someone who likes to get hurt and learning to cycling definitely means that I will fall.

The path was special because it is where I managed to cycle by myself from one end to the other. I was overjoyed that I did it. I fell at the end though, but it didn't matter.

The roast duck store that I use to visit after school is still there! I would order roast duck rice (breast meat please!) and get their sour plum sauce. Nowadays, it seems like nobody knows that roast duck goes with sour plum sauce.

The wet market that I follow my mum is under renovation. Probably changing to something better, more efficient, more hygienic. The food stalls used to be just next to those markets. And I remember a certain Kway Chup store.

I loved eating pig's tongue, big intestine and pig's blood. Too bad pig's blood has already been banned. For a while, I kept ordering pig's liver thinking it's the same (they look just as bloody), but it always ended up as white slices instead. That kept me puzzled as a kid for quite a long time.

I also used to imagine that since taupok acts like a sponge. If I put it in a big pot of gravy, would it keep sucking in the gravy and get bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger until one day the market implodes due to the monster taupok. I asked my mum why it didn't happened, she just said it wouldn't, silly boy.

The residents around the estate generally look older. Some of them must have been here since I came, staying on when I left. I do not see any familiar faces though.

I walked back to my scooter, happy thinking about my younger days, knowing that one day, I will think the same about Woodlands Circle too. So that I would treasure Woodlands Circle just as much, because one day this too will pass too. =)

The world is a mirror

A and B can do the same thing, and yet do it with different intentions, vibes, or energy. The result or product might be the same, but what is important is their intention when they are doing something.

The world is a mirror. If you think that everyone who does anything at all will ALWAYS have a ulterior or malicious or dark intention, maybe the problem lies with you. Maybe because you always handle things with such intentions.

If you wonder why the world or people around you are perpetually unkind, angry, boring, negative, emo or meaningless around you. Check the the mirror. Because how you see the world is merely your own reflection.

So if you find yourself surrounded by joy, positivity, love and care - maybe it's because you are all that to the world too. So it's not so hard to see goodness in this world, it merely is a reflection.

BKE/PIE 4.8km at 8.45am

As i sat down on the expressway, I wanted to weep and cry - just like a little boy who fell.

I feel so angry at myself, for being stupid, for not paying attention, for letting recent events cloud my mind.

The road was wet, and I couldn't stop in time. A car changed lane to the left, obstructing my way. I didn't see the taxi that was stopped in front of the car.

I crash-braked but it was too late.

And my left leg got pinned down by my bike. I removed it. Sat down. Took off my helmet. Thought of you. Thought of my foolishness. Feel like I'm all alone in the world. And just wanted to scream for my mummy to pick me up, to cry, to be soothed, to tell me "boy, don't cry. Everything is going to be ok.."

But I'm not a child, my mum isn't here and this isn't the playground. But it still feels the same like how I used to feel back then.

But I didn't cry. I suffered from shock. My vision blurred. I moved to a better spot. The taxi driver and his passengers helped me. The tow truck from EMAS came and help moved me and my bike to the shoulder.

I looked at my bike. The front cover cracked, the handle twisted, the IU system bent. But as for me, I was in bearable pain.

The whole expressway stopped for those few minutes. I feel like a burden to all those who did nothing wrong but have to be delayed for work.

But I do thank God that everyone were very understanding, helpful and nice. They towed it to the Bike shop at Balestier for me after they told me that my original bike shop at Yishun is too far.

I hobbled to a clinic near by which was filled with old people with aching back and greying hair. I felt that I belong, as every movement caused pain to me just like how they would ooh and ahh at every motion.

The doctor that saw me was also capped with silver, a slow-moving gentle old man. He charged me $19 instead of $35 after I told the counter that I do not have enough cash and they do not accept nets (the ATM is too far for a limping boy).

I wanted to just pay for the consultation and that I do not have to take the medication, but they said keep it.

I took a taxi back. The roads familiar to me from another point of view. It feels very peaceful and quiet even at 90km/h in a car. I don't feel the gushing wind nor can I hear the noise of the traffic.

I feel much better now. I have to thank God that there were only abrasions and a major muscle injury on my left thigh, and there isn't any bleeding.

I will learn from this lesson. It still feels unreal, like it didn't happened. I guess I'll have to keep on moving.

On diversity

quoting mr alex au of yawning bread

We should also do something about identity, for identity mobilisation is only effective when identity boundaries are clear. That is why perhaps the best antidote to ethnic tension is simply to get people to mix with others of a different ethnic group at school, at work and in the same neighbourhoods. When fear and stereotypes are proven to be lies, shrill calls to community defence by extremists fall on deaf ears.

Ditto with the fear of homosexuality. As more and more straight people get to know gay people, as more and more it is considered just and correct to treat everybody fairly regardless of sexual orientation, the "threat" of homosexuality is seen as so much fanatical imaginings.

*****

couldn't agree more with that. That's why it's good to have friends from different spectrum of the society. The chinese, the malays, the rich, the poor, the straight, the gay, the lesbians, the bengs, the mats, the scholars, the cheena, the muslim, the christian, the hindu, the atheist.

So that we can empathize or at least understand why some people do certain things, not that we have to agree or do it as well. But simply to understand.

I find that at the end of the day, all of us are mostly the same deep inside. We all want the same things - happiness, security, success and love amongst a whole lot of other things.

It's just how we all define happiness, security, success and love in different ways that's all.

Nonchalance

I am surprised and disappointed with what I saw. I never did see it coming. Now it evokes a strange sense of Deja Vu of something similar that happened when I was 18 or 19.

What really did shocked me though...

...was my nonchalance towards it.

I don't feel grief or anger or sorrow. Maybe, that's what I truly feel - nonchalant.

Cancel your DBS credit cards or send in a complaint!

From My Wang Says So

April 25, 2009
Aware saga
Disagree? Form own group

Founders say those who disagree with Aware's issues should form own group
By Nur Dianah Suhaimi

FOUNDERS and longtime members of the Association of Women for Action and Research on Friday slammed the new women in charge for the way they seized power on March 28.

Founder member and former nominated member of parliament Kanwaljit Soin said: 'It is not just a women's issue but the whole issue of how civil society actors behave in Singapore.

'If the new members do not agree with Aware's issues, then they should not join. There is plenty of room to start another organisation.'

In a statement, the old guard attacked the way in which a group of unknown new members showed up at the annual general meeting and put a set of new faces in charge.

If they were unhappy with Aware, they could have complained, invited Aware to a seminar to discuss its programmes, or even written to the media.

'Instead, these women joined Aware in the few months before the AGM and then voted their representatives into the executive committee - without giving any indication that they were acting together. They continued with this stance until Thursday when they told the truth.

'This cannot be the way forward for Singapore. We cannot have people acting like moral vigilantes running around and taking over established organisations.'

...... The old guard said: 'If Dr Thio and her mentees feel that Aware has strayed from its original aims, or that some of the programmes are unsuitable, then go ahead and criticise Aware, but do so openly.

'Better still, form their own association to offer parallel programmes with what they see as the right messages, and let the public choose which they prefer. Their motives and actions will then be visible to all, there will be transparency and accountability.'

I have a lot of respect for Kanwaljit Soin. Through the years, time and time again, I've come across her views on a variety of social issues. And I find that she speaks with a lot of clarity, conviction and good sense. In fact, when I was still a law student, I even had to study Kanwaljit's views. Her speeches and articles formed part of the Family Law syllabus at the NUS Law Faculty.

Today, Kanwaljit is once again her usual self. She slices through all the distracting smoke and fluff around the Aware saga, and gets straight to the heart of the matter. I agree fully with her. In my opinion, the new Aware ExCo has no credibility. They deserve no respect.

Yes, the new ExCo team employed a certain strategy and they won the Aware election. And yes, their strategy was constitutional and legally "correct". But it merely reminds me of the PAP's gerrymandering tactics - the way they brazenly redrew the maps, changed the electoral boundaries to their own advantage, and forced their way to election victories.

Those PAP tactics were also constitutional and legally "correct". But those tactics carry no sense of integrity and deserve no respect. At any rate, they won't gain my respect.

I feel exactly the same way about how the new ExCo members have invaded Aware. Their tactics are as honorable as a terrorist attack.

As you probably know by now, the new ExCo chairperson is Josie Lau. She works at DBS, marketing credit cards. Today, for what it's worth, I am going to make a small, symbolic gesture as a DBS customer.

I will call DBS and terminate my credit cards. The DBS person on the line will ask me why (they always ask for that kind of customer feedback). And I will say that it's because of their Head of Marketing, Josie Lau.

I will say that I have a very poor opinion of her behaviour in the Aware saga, and that for that reason, I have decided to stop using DBS credit cards. Furthermore I will request for my feedback to be given to DBS's senior management.

It's a matter of principle. I am only one customer. But I will do what I think is right.

I hope that those of you who share my views about the new Aware ExCo, and who happen to be DBS customers, will do the same. In addition, I hope that you will forward my blog post to your friends and colleagues, and urge them to do the same too.

*****

If you do not have a DBS credit card or do not want to cancel, at least file a complaint with DBS.

That way, they know that one more person do not support Josie Lau's action. =)

File your complaint HERE!

A funny view on the AWARE Saga

LOL. A very funny view on the AWARE Saga from Groundnotes.

However, I dislike Christian fundamentalists even more. Any group that believes that it is absolutely, one hundred and one percent morally right, and expects everyone to abide by their code of morality is, to me, nothing less than a tyrant.

This anti-gay, anti-abortion brigade is stretching its slimly self-righteous tentacles into as many facets of Singapore life it can from law (377A), economics (protest against the casinos) and now civil society.

This holy-molely brigade has realized that it must leave the comfort zone of the church compounds to fight the rising tide of liberalism and wanton hedonism.

And ‘fight’ is the right word because evangelical Christians believe that they are engaged in a spiritual warfare against Satan.

In their minds they are fighting an epic Lord of the Rings-style battle against the anti-Christ, or as we known him by his earthly name, Siew Kum Hong.
<=--- SUPER LOL. I love you Mr Siew! His "demonic" articles

These fanatics sincerely believe that they have to prepare the ground for the second coming of Christ, an event that is taking almost as long to happen as Guns N Roses’ release of Chinese Democracy. And, like Chinese Democracy, it’s going be one helluva anti-climax.

Bike Tales

Life have been very exciting since I got a bike.

The weekends seems longer too!

Better enjoy this honeymoon period w my bike before the novelty wears off. =P

And I'm finally starting to get to know the roads of Singapore better. Not before ending up all over Singapore searching for the expressway entrance.

Exiting at the wrong exit, ending up at Jurong West when I was supposed to go to clementi.

Sent so many people home, here and there and everywhere! Most of my friends haven rode a bike before or have not done so in like the last decade?! So it's cheap thrill for them! Haha.

On wisdom teeth, carousel, geylang fish tanks and getting a new bike?

Got the right side of my wisdom tooth extracted. So now I must be really lacking in wisdom now since both sides are gone!

It didn't hurt very much this time. I didn't even get to eat porridge, I was devouring pasta on the second day already. But the initial weakness and 'chui'ness due to loss of blood was still quite bad, but I just slept it away.

Thanks to friends like Deborah, Yuanxiang, Daryl and Derrick who kept my 6 days of MC very entertaining! Mahjong-ed, had supper at Geylang, visited their "fishtanks" to see "mermaids"... Poor thangs...

P.S. I might just get a new bike (Phantom) tomorrow! I really want a Modern Vespa but they're all so fucking expensive. =S

Laziness made me forget the joy that envelops me when I look back at all the photos, nicely edited, of us happy together.

*Remind self to always capture it on film*

On a fun day with my fellow Majurians!

I had a immensely good sunday thanks very much to JJ Tan, CK Tang, Daniel, Alex and Marcus. We played mahjong, cooked dinner, play more mahjong then went clubbing!

And one of the Manhunt contestant 21 years old, Jason Chee recognized me! haha. He comes over to CCO Maju every monday to check his stores, and he'll draw the keys from me.. MUAHAHA. We were all like OMG, THAT'S REALLY HIM.

But the true joy of all things were the company of Tang, JJ and Daniel. I have never once thought that I would go out with my CAMP MATES (of all things), since i'm already seeing them from monday to friday. But these peeps are just amazing company and it's always to much joy and laughter when we hang out.

Too bad Linus couldn't join us and poor JJ have to be "thorns" among the "flowers" for the day. =P

Damn these "thorns", they're getting all the attention when they least want it! Jackvic, you should know these better than any of us right...
